Data Stewardship Responsibilities

As enterprises work to close the gaps in their information policies and data governance processes, many organizations are creating data stewardship positions. In some companies these individuals are responsible for the data across the enterprise while in others they are line of business (LOB) assignments. Regardless of where they reside, executives need to ensure that their data stewards are addressing the entirety of the task.
